MEJC Movement School FAQ

Q: Do I need to have any community organizing experience in order to apply for the MEJC Movement School?

A: No. We welcome folks without or limited community organizing experience to apply.

Q: Who is eligible?

​

A: We are accepting applications from Michigan residents who are 18 + years old. All applications will be reviewed by MEJC team members. Applicants who identify as Black and Indigenous will be prioritized to ensure our values of equitable leadership development are centered. All applicants will be considered based on equity, capacity, application pool, and availability.

Q: When & where do we meet?

​

A: The cohorts will meet twice a week for 2 hours each meeting. Cohort meetings will be Mondays and Wednesdays 4-6pm est. All cohort meetings will be hosted on zoom.
